DRIVING CREATIVE EXCELLENCE
My story starts in Kansas City, a daydreaming kid who found magic in the margins of boring classes. I’d sketch stories in my head, inspired by the emotions I observed while watching people. Art became my playground, drawing, photography, sculptures, ceramics, printmaking, jewelry, anything I could get my hands on. It was my way of capturing the messy, beautiful chaos of human feelings.

At 18, I chased adventure to Colorado with a friend, and my world cracked wide open. The vibrant landscapes and endless possibilities fueled my art, making it bolder, louder. People remained my muse their joy, grief, anger, bliss, and everything in between. I channeled that energy into a new passion: digital arts. I graduated with a degree in computer animation, ready to tell stories in new ways.

San Francisco came next, a whirlwind of creativity and competition. I juggled traditional art, freelance digital projects, and a gig as a gallery curator’s assistant, soaking up inspiration from the Bay Area’s art scene. But standing out was tough, and I was still searching for my place. Then a college buddy, best-selling author Brad Listi, called with a wild offer: help shoot a documentary for Warren Miller Films about a desert event called Burning Man. I had no clue what it was, but I said yes. That experience blew my mind, limitless creativity, raw beauty, and a glimpse into a multidimensional world. It changed everything.

Burning Man sparked my love for filmmaking. The camera became my new canvas, letting me weave raw emotion into storytelling. I found my calling: I was a storyteller at heart, obsessed with making people feel. I dove into the Bay Area’s music scene, directing music videos, documentaries, and live concerts for icons like Third Eye Blind, Goo Goo Dolls, Bob Weir, Bonnie Raitt, Jefferson Starship, Blue October, DJ Cash Money, Taj Mahal, Davy Jones, Africa Bambaataa, Souls of Mischief, Shigeto, and many more. Working with legends wasn’t just a job, it was a chance to shape the visuals that would tell their stories for generations.

As thrilling as that chapter was, I craved stability for a new phase: family life. So, I pivoted, launching my own creative business to tell stories for brands like Intel, Autodesk, HP, Cisco, and NetApp. Over the past two decades, I’ve grown into and thrive as a Creative Director, still driven by the same passion for storytelling that gripped me as a kid. I’ve earned over 13 industry awards, but the real reward? Building collaborative, creative teams that thrive together and connecting brands with audiences through stories that resonate.

What’s next? I’m ready to create something bold, something that sparks emotion and leaves a mark.
Let’s tell a story together that the world won’t forget.
